The J12 Family
Encounter Weekend

The J12 Family Encounter Weekend is a customizable weekend event designed for the whole church family. Usually, following a weekend of ministry with Gregg Johnson, families come together with a zeal to live the powerful words of Jesus declared at 12, "I must be about My Father's business." The Encounter is available all 12 months of the year and has proven to be a launching pad for a dynamic and ongoing local church preteen specific ministry that involves the whole family.

HOSTING

     The J12 Family Encounter demands little from the host church compared to the high impact it brings. It contains the energy and feel of a large conference, without the cumbersome workload of a conference. Promotion for the Encounter can be as simple as promotion on Sunday morning/weekend service(s) leading up to the date of the Encounter or as intensive as desired. This reduces any burden of cumbersome advertising, but leaves the option open to those that desire to do so. Hosting an Encounter requires very little extra effort outside of your regular scheduling, but the message will resonate for a generation.

BUDGET

     One of the biggest concerns for many churches is the cost of the event. The J12 Family Encounter wants to come to your church! With this in mind we desire to work with your church to meet the cost involved in you hosting the weekend event. Typically, the church will cover the cost of travel and accommodations and then based on the culture of the church, an honorarium and or love offering will be received for J12. There is no set honorarium to bring the Encounter Weekend and there is no minimum attendance required. Please communicate with us openly and honestly about a budget that fits comfortably with your church.
